RV owners know the frustration of a failing awning roller - fabric that won't retract smoothly, rusted components, or leaks during rainstorms. The Solera® 17' Power & Hybrid Awning Roller Assembly solves these problems with military-grade aluminum tubing and Prepflex fabric that resists UV damage and water penetration.
Features
- 17-foot span - Fits standard Lippert® power awning systems for most Class A, B, and C RVs
- Prepflex Green Fade fabric - 100% solution-dyed acrylic with 8+ year UV resistance
- 3" diameter aluminum roller tube - Won't rust or corrode like steel alternatives
- Pre-installed tension springs - Maintains proper fabric tension for smooth operation
- Hybrid compatibility - Works with both power-operated and manual awning systems
- Direct OEM replacement - Matches factory specifications for seamless installation
Unlike aftermarket awning replacements that require modifications, this Solera® assembly drops right into existing Lippert® mounting brackets. The anodized aluminum components won't develop surface oxidation that can stain your RV's exterior, while the precision-balanced roller ensures quiet, vibration-free extension even in 15+ mph winds.
The Prepflex fabric exceeds marine-grade durability standards with a 1800+ hour salt spray rating - ideal for coastal RVers. Its green fade pattern provides 85% UV blockage to keep your patio area significantly cooler than standard vinyl awnings.

- Will this fit my 2018 jayco with lippert power awning? Yes, this assembly is designed as a direct replacement for Lippert® power awning systems in most RVs manufactured after 2015. Measure your existing awning length to confirm 17' is the correct size.
- How does prepflex fabric compare to standard vinyl? Prepflex offers 3x greater UV resistance (8+ years vs 2-3 years), 40% better water repellency, and won't become brittle in cold temperatures like vinyl. The solution-dyed fibers resist fading better than coated fabrics.
- Can i install this myself? Most experienced RV owners can complete the installation in 2-3 hours with basic tools. The assembly comes with detailed instructions and all necessary hardware. Professional installation is recommended for complex awning motor replacements.
- What's your return policy if it doesn't fit? We offer 30-day returns on unused items with original packaging. Please verify your awning model and measurements before ordering - our product specialists can help confirm compatibility.
