Return Policy Overview

Return Window

For most items, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. After this time, we cannot offer any return options.  Some products carry a specific return window and details are visible on each product page near the add to cart button.

Eligible Items

  • Unused items in original packaging
  • Items with all original tags and labels
  • Products in resalable condition
  • Defective or damaged items

Return Shipping

Return shipping charges are calculated after your request is submitted. These charges will be deducted from your final refund amount.

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10-14 business days after we receive and inspect your return.

Undeliverable / Returned-to-Sender Packages

Customers are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address at checkout, and for being available to receive delivery when required by the carrier.

If a carrier is unable to deliver a package for any reason — including but not limited to an incorrect address, incomplete address, inaccessible delivery location, failed delivery attempts, refusal of delivery, unclaimed package, restricted delivery location, or the customer’s failure to make required delivery arrangements — the shipment may be returned to sender or treated as abandoned by the carrier.

If the package is abandoned, disposed of, lost, or otherwise not returned to Elkhart RV Parts, no refund can be issued. Once an order has shipped, delivery failure caused by address issues, refusal, non-acceptance, or unavailable delivery access is not considered an error by Elkhart RV Parts.

If the package is returned to Elkhart RV Parts, any refund or return eligibility will be determined by the return/refund policy for the specific item purchased. Each item may carry its own return policy, including non-returnable, custom-made, special-order, 15-day, 30-day, or other item-specific terms. These item-specific policies are shown on the product page before purchase, and by placing an order, the customer agrees to the return/refund terms shown for that item.

If an item is eligible for a refund after being returned to us, all original shipping costs, return shipping costs, carrier return fees, address correction fees, restocking fees, and any other carrier or handling charges related to the failed delivery may be deducted from the refund before it is processed.

We do not guarantee that an undeliverable package can be reshipped. If reshipment is available, the customer is responsible for any additional shipping charges before the package is sent again.

By placing an order with Elkhart RV Parts, the customer agrees that they are responsible for providing a valid deliverable address, accepting delivery, and paying any costs caused by failed delivery, return-to-sender handling, or reshipment.

We do not offer international returns. Returns are only available for orders shipped within the United States. Please ensure items meet your needs before ordering if you are located outside the US.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or special-order parts
  • Electrical components that have been installed

How do I start a return?

How much does return shipping cost?
Return shipping charges are calculated after you submit your return request based on the item's size, weight, and your location. The shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll process your refund within 10-14 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account.
Can I return an item if I installed it?
Items must be unused and in their original packaging to be eligible for return. Electrical components and parts that have been installed typically cannot be returned. Please contact us if you received a defective item.
Do you accept international returns?
No, we do not offer international returns at this time. Returns are only available for orders shipped within the United States.
What if my item arrived damaged or defective?
If you received a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately through our returns portal within 7 days of receiving your package. We'll work with you to resolve the issue quickly, and return shipping charges may be waived for defective items.
Can I exchange an item instead of returning it?
Currently, we process returns for refunds only. If you need a different item, please submit a return request and place a new order for the item you need.
What happens if I miss the 30-day return window?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns after 30 days from the delivery date. Please ensure you submit your return request within this timeframe to be eligible for a refund.
