Complete your awning

Most replacements need only the roller if your arms work. A new or damaged awning needs the arms & hardware kit.

How to measure your awning size
  1. Close the awning and mark the horizontal center of each support arm.
  2. Measure from one center mark to the other. That distance is your awning size: 16 ft between arm centers means a 16 ft awning.
  3. Order the size that matches exactly. The fabric itself is about 10 in shorter than the size (a 10 ft size has 9 ft 2 in of fabric), so don't measure the old fabric.

Also match the series on your awning's label. Arm lengths differ by series, for example the 3000XL uses a 78 in XL arm.

Professional-grade awning roller assembly for power and hybrid RV awnings

Tired of awning mechanisms that jam, sag, or fail when you need shade most? The Solera® 17' Power & Hybrid Roller Assembly solves the most common RV awning frustrations with heavy-duty construction and precision engineering. Unlike aftermarket alternatives that wear out quickly, this OEM-approved assembly delivers reliable performance season after season.

Features

  • 17-foot span - Fits standard RV awnings up to 17' in length
  • Prepflex® solid black fabric - 25% more UV-resistant than standard vinyl
  • Dual-operation design - Works with both power and manual awning systems
  • Heavy-duty roller tube - 3.5" diameter aluminum core resists bending
  • Precision bearings - Stainless steel components for smooth extension/retraction
  • Weatherproof construction - All-metal hardware withstands road vibration

When replacing your RV awning mechanism, only genuine Solera® components guarantee perfect compatibility with Lippert awning systems. This roller assembly maintains proper tension across the entire 17' span, preventing the "sagging middle" that plagues cheaper replacements. The Prepflex fabric won't stretch or fade like bargain fabrics, maintaining a crisp, professional appearance.

Ideal for both electric awnings and manual models with hybrid conversion kits, this assembly comes ready to install with all necessary brackets and fasteners. The black powder-coated finish resists corrosion in coastal and rainy climates, while the oversized roller tube prevents fabric wrinkling during storage.
