Complete your awning

Most replacements need only the roller if your arms work. A new or damaged awning needs the arms & hardware kit.

How to measure your awning size
  1. Close the awning and mark the horizontal center of each support arm.
  2. Measure from one center mark to the other. That distance is your awning size: 16 ft between arm centers means a 16 ft awning.
  3. Order the size that matches exactly. The fabric itself is about 10 in shorter than the size (a 10 ft size has 9 ft 2 in of fabric), so don't measure the old fabric.

Also match the series on your awning's label. Arm lengths differ by series, for example the 3000XL uses a 78 in XL arm.

Replace your failing RV awning with factory-grade reliability

RV owners know the frustration of awnings that stick, sag, or refuse to retract—especially when weather hits. The Solera® Power & Hybrid Roller Assembly eliminates these headaches with rugged Prepflex fabric and precision-engineered components that outperform aftermarket alternatives. Built to Lippert®'s exact specifications, this 8-foot assembly delivers quiet, consistent operation season after season.

Features

  • 8-foot span – Fits standard RV awning openings (96" nominal width)
  • Prepflex Sand Fade fabric – UV-resistant 18-ounce vinyl with 500D polyester backing
  • Hybrid-ready design – Works with both power and manual override systems
  • Heavy-duty roller tube – 3.5" diameter aluminum with reinforced end caps
  • Weathertight motor housing – IP54-rated protection against rain and dust
  • Tool-free tension adjustment – Dial in perfect awning tightness in seconds

Unlike universal awning replacements that require modifications, this Solera® assembly bolts directly into existing Lippert® mounting points. The patented Prepflex material resists fading and mildew while providing 20% better wind load resistance than standard vinyl. Motorized operation features soft-start technology to reduce strain on your RV's electrical system.

Ideal for replacing worn-out Carefree® or Dometic® awnings, this roller assembly comes pre-assembled with all necessary brackets and fasteners. The sand fade color blends seamlessly with modern RV exteriors while hiding dirt and stains between cleanings.
