Nothing ruins an RV trip faster than a failing awning—frayed fabric, stuck rollers, or sudden collapses in windy conditions. The Solera® Power & Hybrid Awning Roller Assembly solves these headaches with military-grade materials and precision engineering. Built to Lippert's exacting standards, this 20-foot replacement unit delivers smooth, reliable deployment whether you're using electric controls or manual override.
Features
- 20-foot span fits most standard RV awnings with 1" clearance tolerance
- Prepflex Green Fade fabric offers 98% UV protection and 10,000+ deployment cycles
- Dual-operation design works with power systems or manual hand-crank override
- Aluminum roller tube weighs just 14 lbs for easy handling during installation
- Pre-drilled mounting points align with Lippert® and most competitor awning arms
- 3-year limited warranty against material defects when installed properly
Unlike aftermarket awning replacements that sag after one season, Solera® uses aerospace-grade aluminum alloys in the roller tube and aircraft cable reinforcement in the fabric seams. The result? An awning that withstands 55 mph wind gusts when properly tensioned and maintains a crisp, taut appearance for years.
The Prepflex Green Fade fabric isn't just about aesthetics—its proprietary coating reflects infrared heat while allowing cool breezes to pass through. Tests show interior temperatures under this awning average 15°F cooler than standard vinyl options during peak sunlight hours.

- Will this fit my 2018 jayco with lippert awning arms? Yes, this assembly is designed to be compatible with all Lippert® power awning systems manufactured after 2015. Measure your existing roller tube length to confirm 20' is the correct size.
- Can the fabric be replaced separately? No, Solera® constructs these as complete units with permanently bonded fabric to ensure proper tension. Attempting to replace just the fabric voids the warranty.
- How does prepflex compare to standard vinyl? Prepflex lasts 3x longer than standard vinyl (7+ years vs. 2-3 years) and stays 15°F cooler in direct sunlight. The fade-resistant green color maintains its appearance without yellowing.
- Is professional installation required? While DIY installation is possible with basic tools, we recommend professional installation to ensure proper tensioning and electrical connections for powered models.
