Will the Irvine Slow-Rise Spring Fit a Pre-2019 RV Shade?
The 1-1/4" Slow-Rise replacement spring is specified for 2019 and newer model year premium shades. It is not listed as a fit for earlier premium shades. Before you order anything for an older shade, measure the roller tube. If it is 1" or 3/4", you have a Valu-Line shade and there is no model year restriction on those springs. If it is 1-1/4" on a pre-2019 coach, call us at 574-675-6919 with the tube diameter and shade width and we will confirm the correct part before you spend money.

Finding Your Shade Model Year
Most Irvine shades carry no visible date stamp, so use the model year of the coach the shade was originally installed in. If the coach is a 2019 or newer model year and the roller tube measures 1-1/4", the Slow-Rise spring applies. Replacement shades installed later may not match the coach year — if the shade has been changed at any point, go by the tube measurement, not the coach.
