Frequently Asked Questions

I'm traveling or staying at an RV park. What address should I use?

Use an address where you reasonably expect to remain through the full estimated fulfillment and delivery period. Do not use an RV park, campground, resort, rally, temporary residence, or forwarding location you expect to leave before the order is likely to arrive.

Can I change my shipping address after ordering?

ERVP provides a one-hour cancellation/change window so you can correct your address or cancel before processing begins. After that, the order may already be in a manufacturer, vendor, warehouse, or drop-ship system that does not allow ERVP to change the destination. Address changes, reroutes, and carrier intercepts after the one-hour window are therefore not guaranteed.

What if I move to another RV park before my order arrives?

If you chose a temporary address and later leave it, ERVP will try to help when a change or intercept remains possible, but that is a courtesy rather than a guaranteed service. An order correctly shipped to the address you supplied is not an ERVP wrong-address or fulfillment error because you later moved. You may also be responsible for carrier/vendor address-correction, return-to-sender, recovery, or reshipping costs.

My appliance or functional product arrived physically damaged. What do I do?

Stop before installation. Photograph the carton, shipping label, packaging, physical damage, and product/model/serial label. Keep all packaging and report the damage to Elkhart RV Parts within 7 calendar days of delivery. Do not install, connect, energize, modify, or use a physically damaged product. See our Appliance & Functional Product Shipping Damage / Warranty Policy.

The box looked fine, but the appliance or awning does not work after installation. What do I do?

If there is no evidence of physical transit damage, this is generally a technical diagnosis/manufacturer-warranty issue rather than a shipping-damage claim. Installed, mounted, connected, adjusted, or energized functional products are not standard unused returns. We will help identify the manufacturer's warranty route, provide proof of purchase, and participate when the manufacturer's procedure requires the selling dealer.

Will you immediately send another unit if mine does not work?

Not automatically. For an installed or operated functional product, replacement, repair, parts, or other remedies normally depend on the applicable manufacturer warranty and diagnosis. ERVP may replace or refund when authorized by that process, when we made a fulfillment error, when required by law, or when approved as a customer-service exception.

Do I need to keep the box?

Yes, especially for shipping-damage claims. Keep the original carton, internal packaging, labels, and product until the claim is resolved.

I received the wrong item or parts are missing.

Report it within 7 calendar days with photos of the item received, shipping label, product label, and packaging. This is handled as a fulfillment issue rather than a manufacturer-warranty claim.

Can I return an appliance after installing or powering it?

Not as a standard unused-product return. A no-damage performance problem after installation/energizing is generally handled through the applicable manufacturer warranty/service process.

How do I start a normal return?

Review the product-specific return terms and our Returns Policy, then use the return portal. Eligible standard returns must be new, unused, uninstalled, complete, and resalable unless the product-specific terms say otherwise.

Can I cancel an order?

Most non-special-order purchases have the one-hour window described in our Order Cancellation & Change Policy. Special-order products may have stricter terms disclosed before purchase.

Does ERVP verify that my address can accept my order?

No. We use the address you submit and cannot know every location's carrier-access rules, package-size limits, mailroom procedures, recipient requirements, forwarding restrictions, or ability to accept and hold a particular shipment. Address autocomplete or carrier validation at checkout is a convenience, not a guarantee. Before ordering, confirm that the address is complete, valid, accessible, authorized to receive the package, and able to accept the product's size and delivery method. ERVP does not ship to PO Boxes.

What happens if the address I chose cannot accept delivery?

If delivery fails because your selected address is invalid, incomplete, inaccessible, restricted, refuses or cannot accept the package, lacks an authorized recipient, or you are no longer there, you may be responsible for carrier/vendor fees, return shipping, address-correction, handling, restocking, reshipping, and any non-recoverable loss, to the extent permitted by law. A returned package is not automatically entitled to a full refund, and a package that is abandoned, disposed of, lost, or never returned because of the selected address generally cannot be refunded or replaced. This does not apply if ERVP used an address different from the one submitted with the order or if an unrelated carrier loss/damage event occurred.

Do you ship to PO boxes?

No. Please provide a complete physical delivery address.

Do you offer exchanges?

We generally process an eligible return and a separate new order rather than an exchange.

How do I check my order status?

Use the order-status page linked from your confirmation email for the latest available fulfillment and tracking information.
