2010 Forest River Rpod 177 Fresh Water Tank Replacement & Fitting Guide
2010 Forest River Rpod 177 Fresh Water Tank Replacement & Fitting Guide
I own a 2010 Forest River Rpod 177 and need to replace its fresh water tank labeled Performance Plastics Part No: 207-1 SA RV E. I found a 36-gallon tank on your site but am unsure if it matches. How do you install threaded fittings like your 1/2" Flush Threaded Fitting into the tank? Do you offer the original Performance Plastics tank or recommend a fitting installation method?
We do not have the original Performance Plastics tank with part number 207-1 SA RV E in stock and could not locate an exact match. However, the 36-gallon RV water tank (54" x 32" x 5.75") available on our website is a suitable replacement commonly used for similar applications, including your Forest River Rpod 177.
For installing threaded fittings, like the 1/2" Flush Threaded Fitting (Part #83A), most customers use our Universal Fresh Water Tank Fittings Kit with Water Level Sensors. This kit allows you to customize fitting placement by drilling holes in the tank and securing fittings with supplied grommets and seals, making it a straightforward DIY project without requiring special welding tools.
Previously, we offered a spin welding service that fused fittings directly to the tank using heat, but it was costly and less flexible. The universal kit provides a reliable, adjustable, and user-friendly alternative. Detailed installation instructions are available on the product page to guide you through the process safely and effectively.
If you need the tank quickly, we have the 36-gallon tank in stock and ready to ship. Feel free to contact us for further assistance or to order parts tailored to your RV remodeling project.
